Owner/Client Coordination
Obtain the following information from the owner or designated representative for the facility...
- Determine fixture, equipment and material preferences. (See note below)
- Understand functionality of the facility.
- Should future expansion be considered in plumbing systems design?
- What level of expertise will be available for system maintenance?
- System redundancy requirements.
- Identify facility underwriter. (F.M., I.R.I., etc.)
- System problems/deficiencies within existing facilities.
- Drawing/Specification format.
NOTE
It is important to provide materials and equipment that are preferred by the owner and when
designing additions or renovations to facilities, they should be compatible with the existing installation.
